My Wireless employee earns regional honor

Ben Holdridge, of My Wireless, has received the quarterly salesperson of the region award. This award is given not only for success in number of sales but also for consistently displaying exemplary levels of professionalism and leadership to co-workers and customers, according to a news release. My Wireless includes 21 stores in six regions and three states. The award puts Holdridge in contention for year-end honors as My Wireless salesperson of the year.

Steamboat Interiors shuts down showroom

Steamboat Interiors and Cabin Collections is closing its large furniture showroom and concentrating on interior design, according to a news release. Owner Michael Buccino will keep his office at Steamboat Crossings, but the company has sold two-thirds of its space. The smaller operating space will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and by appointment on weekends.

Romney firm announces new partner, associate

Doug Timmerman has partnered with Sherman Romney and Romney Law Office to open a new location in Steamboat Springs, according to a news release.

Romney has been practicing law in the Yampa Valley for 15 years. His areas of practice include municipal law, business law, wills and trusts, estate planning, criminal law and bankruptcy.

Timmerman brings more than 17 years of litigation experience. In joining as a partner with Romney Law Office, Timmerman is focusing his practice on civil and criminal litigation, including representing clients in personal injury, criminal, divorce, administrative, regulatory law and employment discrimination. Romney Law Office also announced that Anne Zoltani has become an associate of the firm. As an associate, Zoltani will focus on transactional matters including estate planning, trust administration, business law, elder law and real estate transactions. Her practice also involves landlord/tenant law, probate, adoptions and bankruptcy.
