Bill loves Steamboat and shopping downtown
December 13, 2012
Bill loves Christmas. Don't you?
Instead of doing things like, oh, say, putting up the lights around his downtown Steamboat Springs apartment (like Ophelia has asked him to, over and over and over) Bill has been hitting the slopes every morning before work. That's why Bill loves Christmastime.
And even more snow is on the way, so it's time to get those legs in shape just in time for what he's sure will be a Christmas dump to remember.
Bill did some shopping at Holidays in the Rockies, but he still has a long way to go. Thankfully, he's got some guidance.
HotSteamboatDeals.com is giving him some great gift ideas. How about $50 to spend at Zirkel Trading for just $20? Guitar lessons with Damon St. James for Bill’s 9-year-old wannabe rockstar cousin? And of course, a few more Steamboat calendars thrown in the mix. And why not a deal for himself and Ophelia to eat, drink and be merry at the Old Town Pub?

In addition, Bill found deals galore at ExploreSteamboat.com through the ads and coupons section, which displays all of the specials that appear every day in the Steamboat Pilot and Today. The holiday specials at Steamboat Meat & Seafood Co. caught his eye, and so did the 12-pack of holiday deals at Steamboat Flyfisher.
For men during Christmastime, it's not shopping, it's "buying," and downtown Steamboat Springs is the place to do it.
It's too bad that you can see Mount Werner from downtown Steamboat. What a tease.
