He was the lucky one counting down the last weeks on his helmet. That's all he could talk about, his wife and kids, not about the dead or Vietnam; just his family and what he was going to do when he gets home. He was becoming more and more cautious with every step, being sure not to get hurt in the last few weeks. It was silent for the first time, so silent that one could hear the bugs that have been tearing at the company constantly. This was the loneliest time, everybody was silent. Only two weeks left.
