On Wednesday, for the seventh consecutive year, Steamboat Springs’ favorite sport, Nordic combined, took the spotlight for the Fourth of July festivities and reveled in it. It never gets old.

Thousands poured into downtown Steamboat on a hot and hazy morning, crowding local businesses as 60 floats cruised by for more than an hour and a half.
