Wow. Thank you for making good on another of the promises made to us when we voted to fund the Health Service District. We all know how hard dental care is to afford. the Northwest Dental Coalition is a great organization and South Routt is very fortunate to have them agree to partner with the clinic. As for the Pilot- they have always preferred to treat south routt as a bit of a joke rather than as a real and viable community of hardworking folks doing the best they can with what they've got.
Spectacular job Jon! Father, fulltime working man and ass kicking almost old guy- a modern day hero. The online video coverage was thrilling. We are so proud of you.
These same questions occurred to me. It struck me as very odd that our election officials would be furnishing this information- particularly before the election is over. Legal? perhaps. Ethical? not so sure.
Thank you Frankie for a well written and thought provoking letter. Clearly it has served the intended purpose by encouraging intelligent discourse about the needs, wants and values of our community. It is rare to actually see a comment thread on this forum go on this long without deteriorating. Hopefully the dialogue continues at tonight's meeting.
I agree- this is an amazing event! The entire podium from this year's Tour de France will be here and that is just the beginning of the list. I also agree that it is great to have so much head's up time on the closures/ parking challenges- Thanks! I am wondering if Oak Creek has made similar plans as the Tour passes right through town and- I believe- there is an intermediate sprint line in Oak Creek. This is a BIG, BIG deal as hundreds of thousands of folks worldwide watch the stage and sprint on television. Can't wait!
impressive display of the hardwork the OC and Yampa volunteer rescue crews have put into their training- thanks guys for all you do! equally impressive display of careless, wreckless behavior. would expect to see fines levied not just for the rescue, but for the hazmat discharge into OUR water.
Eric you make an interesting link between Scott and Chan and what goes on in their buildings. Of course only one of the operations is legal and on the up and up. Please Scott, a hero??
I guess I posted too soon when I suggested Tom had provoked a more intelligent discourse- the discourse has deteriorated into the same old ranting and finger wagging by the same old posters who never see anything of merit in the opposing arguments and cling to sound bite rhetoric. BORING...
Scott- you are really on your game in the discussion of Tom Ross column on guncontrol. Sometimes you are spot on with your insights and wit and other times...well, a little less on your game I suppose. Anywho- I got a good chuckle out of your remarks. thanks.
