Yo Chris...I found it (I don't just watch the "alpha-bit news"...author unknown.

http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/crime/item/20985-self-defense-in-the-uk-is-illegal

is NOT SO FUNNY! Even if you are not a "gun nut" like me...this should disturb you. This is where the U.S. is headed if you allow "The Long March" to continue.

Cheers!

No one should be "hitting" anyone! Protests, if disruptive, are outlawed under H.R. 347!

It basically says that at any event in which the U. S. secret Service is involved (Trump has Secret Service protection), it is unlawful and a criminal offense to have disruptive protest.

Certainly, "blocking roadways" (and all that comes with that action) is well beyond the scope of H.R. 347...however, I'm sure the "police powers" will have something to say about that action.

I just wonder if these "protesters" get a warm fuzzy feeling when they are marching next to the "Hammer and Sickle"?

Cheers!

Scott writes... "If city is going to say that those living downtown won't have cars then that should apply to every project. And approving that sort of rule change should require strong evidence from other projects that their residents don't own cars and are not using the existing parking".

WOW! I'd love to see them try to write that "Deed Restriction" in a fee simple transaction. That train only has so much track! Don't tell me that "it could be covered" in the HOA rules and regs...that would fly in the face of zoning as those rules and regs could be changed in the future as the HOA elites come and go. There would be no guarantee of continuity moving forward.

Not disagreeing with your statement Scott...just saying that a project that would "Deed Restrict" having a vehicle has NO FUTURE! Period.

Cheers!

Whilst I was having my morning coffee, reading the news of the day and listening To "Lennon and McCartney"... considering the "Socialist-Communist-La Raza-LGBT-Black Lives Matter" crowds (I'm sure I missed somebody) illegal actions in response to the "American Political Process"...I couldn't help but think of how proud "Lennon and Marx" would be of their "comrades" actions.

and please don't come back with any "Hitler" analogizes relative to TRUMP...that dog won't hunt. Gosh this is fun!

Cheers!

Jerry I thought you would enjoy that! It is going "WORLD-WIDE".

Now I need to share what "not having our 2nd Amendment" would look like...all we need to do is look to our English cousins for the evidence. Enjoy! http://www.thenewamerican.com/usnews/crime/item/20985-self-defense-in-the-uk-is-illegal

My wife carries "Wasp Spray" in her car and shoulder-bag. It's good up to 25 feet!

Cheers!

The Lincoln Ave and 12th St "INTERSECTION" has always been a challenge to navigate. Now What?!? Just try to exit 12th onto Lincoln-west (the left hand turn) and turning onto 12th from Lincoln in either direction is not for the faint of heart. The stupid sidewalk design sure doesn't help anyone with a vehicle bigger than a "toy-car".

and...tell me again where these folks are going to park? and...what about "the park"? now... no one will be able to "park" at the "park". There's certainly a critical parking issue at the Library (who didn't see that coming?) and allowing for this "density" at that location will only add to the problem.

The Rogers have played the city like a fiddle, and for that I can't blame them, however "BOLD-INTELLIGENT" leadership seems to be missing in this country from the top-down. Just saying!

Cheers!
