It's about time that this issue is on the slate to be resolved. These horses live in an atrocious condition. Confined to extremely small pens and all look malnourished. I hope that she will be brought to justice and the lives of these horses will have a brighter future.
Nice work SSFD. Glad all the occupants and firefighters were uninjured. Thanks for all you do to keep this town safe. Your efforts are invaluable.
Congrats to the Sailors amazing football season. You guys played your heart out each and every minute and represented our town in classic, hardnosed fashion. Thanks for all the highlights and all the best to the athletes in their future endeavors.
Resolve this??? Maybe Mr DeVos can start by realizing that these cats have called this area home far longer than any of us. Obviously these runners were educated about what steps to take in case of a run-in with a cougar. The encounters on Emerald directly correlate to the shear numbers of people who recreate there. I'm sure there are plenty of other cats in this area who have had their eyes pealed on all of us at some time. As far as resolve goes...If you are going to recreate in an area know to be the home of large predators, carry pepper spray or stay at home. Education is a far better solution than the eradication of these magnificent animals.
Way to go Sam! Sounds like you guys have a solid team. Good luck in the tourney.
This guy is clearly a moron. Nuff said.
Amongst a terrible occurence, a huge amount of respect and admiration goes out to all those who made the efforts to recover Tigger from a remote location. The river has a way of creating some incredible relationships and this is just another example of people looking out for their own. I wish the family all the best in their time of loss.
