Here is a news story from Reutor's..... Monday Aug 27 .."Text-S&P revises Quicksliver Resources out look to stable'. Denver Post...".Colorado's push to update oil and gas drilling ,irks the industry."by Bruce Finley.Thank's to our commissioner,Doug Monger for signing the letter supporting Longmont.
If marketing is a better success I hope people won't get laid off and suffer the in between season poverty that prevails for the workers. If snow is bad and people don't come ,the workers are the first to get laid off,no matter what.It would be nice to depend on your job for a living instead of maybe you will have money to live on or maybe not.
Routt County has the airline subsidy and we all pay for that in the county that shop Steamboat. It is supposed to bring people to the mountain, I believe that you want to keep tourist's in Hayden before they are transported to Steamboat ,this casino would keep guest's out of Steamboat activity's.?That would interrupt the taxi system and the way it works now.No one want's to remain in Hayden for too long when they fly into the Valley. They don't come here with the gambling in mind,it is the ski industry that they come for.Your plan seems to want way lay the travelers into the net of your casino and take them away from activity's that are in Steamboat? How much will this operation pay into that airline subsidy? The casino would end up hiring Craig people and they will go back to Moffat County to spend the wages.Routt County would carry the law enforcement burden. Why would you not contact the nearest indian tribe yet?Sounds like they are planning Dinosaur cause you didn't even talk to them yet. What is going on with that?Don't ask a whole valley to approve gambling when you don't even have a tribe. How about the Craig airport for your casino?
Yes,wouldn't want to see an out of work lawyer. The gambling will hurt people in retirement.I have seen life savings lost for perfectly smart people trying to have some fun.
As long as you are clearing the air about extreme opinions, here is one more.....A new picture for Rob is needed,he looks so hot and scratchy!(I've wanted to say that all summer)Please give the firefighters enough money to live on.Pilot,if the comment poster must put up with Robs policing and attacking post's,how about paying money to the few comment writers that are left ,as you will pay Rob for his writing?Bring back the anonymous writers ,please. One of these days you will have no comments to publish at all.Who want's to be attacked by Rob(the pot calling the kettle black?) for a composing a comment, and the Pilot pays him for it?
"Methane making an appearance in Pennsylvania water supply",written on Aug.28,2012 ,by Scott Detrow. This story is part of the State Impact Pennsylvania Project.State Impact is a collaboration between NPR and member stations examining the effect of state policy on peoples lives.
People with good manors don't say "S***" in an opinion.Allot is not a properly spelled word and Phippsburg is how the town's name is spelled.Everyone has a right to a clean valley and that includes ALL of the people.
Peak oil is over.....sorry but your oil based shampoo is running out!it is water and air polluting hydro gas fracturing that is totally offensive to the public and planet..Do you live under a rock?Do you care about Routt County at all?Fracking is not safe and we don't have to just take it, so you won't run out of hair care product's.
In making assumptions about the general population's intelligence about civics is lacking so severely that we are unfit for voting,is in itself an ignorant idea. All student's are taught civics and have been for a long long time. Our men and women have fought ,been wounded and died, for the right of every citizen in this country and voting is one of those rights.
How about a petition to the state in support of Longmont? They shouldn't have to have those fracking operation's in the neighborhood .
