Extensive search underway for man who jumped into Yampa River to evade Steamboat police May 22, 2017
I plan on attending this trial that starts tomorrow. I hope those that can, will come also. It is an important trial for Steamboat for the safety of tourists, both winter and summer visitors, and important to every local who rides their bike, motorcycle, walks their dogs, or crosses a street. The info so far has been sketchy and full of secrecy as to the "medical condition" that was suddenly forced upon a man , who is tested for competency as a driver by the state of Colorado every two years. Something doesn't add up, and either he was incapacitated for "other" reasons and came up with this affliction on the spot, or he shouldn't have been released to be driving professionally because of that medical condition. The sad thing is that I'm afraid he is trying to get away with both.
