8:30 on a Sunday morning. I can't believe folks weren't up and about and that someone didn't hear the shot. Let's see what kind of folks we have in the Indian Trails neighborhood. Speak up and let the authorities deal with this person.
Had a similar situation happen to me many years ago when I was taking a snowmobile down a groomed cat track. The brakes failed as I rounded a sharp curve and the machine threw me off and headed into some trees. I have always wondered why they don't have a fail safe mechanism like they have on water sleds that when the rider falls off the machine loses power.
Excellent work by an excellent group of people. If there is any question in anyones mind concerning the value of having a defibrillator available, this should settle it. Good luck to the Mrs. and her upcoming procedure.
Who are the contacts in order to suggest a fourth speaker for this summer? The topic would be collaborative consumerism. You can email me at fudjack@aol.com
It would be great if we could get one or two of those buses to swing up Fish Creek Falls Road and at the very least bring riders to Hilltop Parkway and Tamarac. Even better would be to have the bus come all the way up to the Storm Mountain Ct. turnaround as walking on Tamarac anytime of day is dangerous.
I say those who walk their dogs either on or off leash need to be more vigilant in policing those who are not responsible enough to pick up after their own animal. Saying in a nice way (Hey a**hole your dog just s**t on the trail. Here's a bag) other more responsible dog people could help with the waste pick up. As in most situations of irresponsibility, it might just come down to the more responsible cleaning up after those who just don't get it.

Frigid weather rattles Steamboat
Maybe if the parents had gotten off of their cell phones and made sure the kids were dressed properly they could have had school.

Jonathan Huge: Plan short-sighted
Just wondering if Mr. Huge went directly to the school to voice his concerns before he felt it appropriate to write his letter.

Tom Ross: Turn back the Glock
So how many gophers can you kill with 31 shots in 6 seconds? Or is there another reason you would own a magazine extender? Makes no sense to me.

Steamboat Springs City Council to tackle off-leash ordinance
Maybe the non-dog owners need to be put in an enclosed area.
