Not sure. How many would have been saved at Columbine, Sandy Hook, et. al.? The problem is that not one person on this thread (who have been advocating gun control) have made any comments to control pressure cookers. Not a single one. Copeland thought he'd use this (along with you and Kotowski hopping on the bandwagon) as a great way to joke around at the expense of the bombing. Have fun with it since it's a big joke to you all.
"You've imposed your own template to impugn those with whom you disagree."
2 way street.
If it makes you feel better about yourself, then keep believing that.
A gun is made to kill...period. It doesn't matter the specifics...it's only purpose is to kill. It has no other value. If you want to call that "perverting a good thing," more power to you.
A car is made for transportation...period. And again- the car requires a license to drive. It has a caveat to using it legally.
As Brian said, "People who don't get it often don't get that they don't get it."
By being facetious in equating this to gun control, you are making fun of the situation.
Guns are made specifically to kill. There is no other manufacturer-intended use for them. Cars are intended as transportation and require a license to operate legally.
How nice that people think the bombing is something to make fun of.
Some could say it's also dead wrong to automatically bestow a weapon to someone, based on the same reasons you just mentioned.
Not mine. All misdemeanor.
Moderate. Not liberal.
