ANOTHER GREAT DEED BY KYLE CASE. It is wonderful to see such giving of oneself in remembrance of those that gave all and to help the others in need. You as a young man and what you are doing is so appreciated and respected.. We could sure use more like you--both young and adults.. I and most people were very disappointed the the court house lawn was off limits to you for this event but many thanks and great appreciation to the sponsoring bank.

Allen. I at first decided that your comment was not worth the time it takes to respond. However; I would like to ask you to submit your credentials and how you arrived at you conclusions. I have had a lot of interactions with our CPW for over FORTY years . I have found that the men and women that are charged with the responsibility of assuring us that we have a continuous and healthy supply of fish and game are doing a great job and do know what they are doing. Everyone makes mistakes. The introduction of NON-NATIVE fish by whomever did it deserves to be punished. This introduction into Elk Head and Stagecoach reservoirs has seriously endangered the native fish populations. The CPW is only trying to correct this wrong and preserve our native populations---AND I CONGRADULATE THEM AND WISH THEM SUCCESS IN THEIR GOALS.

I taught University level classes on MITOCHONDRIAL DNA evidence and arson investigation combined with insurance fraud. Wayne Eller 6 months, 1 week ago on Investigators suspect explosion was suicide attempt

Why is it that our Sheriff's department is so in-sensitive to a citizens feelings??? Just the fact that under-sheriff Ray Birch even mentioned the POSSIBILITY of suicide is a disgrace. Probably very few that have reached the age of 40 have not, at on time or another, considered taking their own life---usually out of desperation. There is no evidence short of hearsay, that this was an attempt on his own life. Birch only said "WHAT HE HEARD", and nothing that he KNOWS for a fact. Even if it was a suicide attempt, it should have never been made public. Also, shame on the Pilot for printing this. The victim was "seriously injured" and under extreme duress. Nothing said under these conditions is likely to be allowed in a court procedure. True and actual suicide victims' names are not published with the cause of death listed. This is supposedly out of concern for the victim and their loved ones. Once these things are said---true, accurate or not--- the damage is done and this person and his family will undoubtedly face unnecessary shame and embarrassment. possibly causing the person to destroy themselves.. SHAME ON RAY BIRCH AGAIN AND SHAME ON THE PILOT FOR PRINTING THIS HARMFUL REPORT!!!!!

Mr Carlton If you feel that wiggins' actions were justifiable please step forward and pay my pro-rata share of the tax payers bill. Also, I feel that I will not be the only one requesting your assistance. Would you feel differently or take a different stance or position if Ms Bantle was your wife, sister, mother or family friend? Before anyone jumps to assumptions, Ms Bantle is not related to me and I don't remember ever making her acquaintance until after this mis-carriage of justice and abuse of political power started. However; I am well acquainted with Right and Wrong and can usually identify it pretty quickly. If the circumstances were the same and this WRONG had been done to you, I would have also stood up for you.

Good morning Jerry. Will you sign it? Also, the city of Steamboat Springs should pursue collection of their comprehensive expenses due to this frivolous action of sheriff wiggins. After all, he started this mess by proving that he was not honest and trustworthy and by using the authority of the office to cause harm to someone to settle a personal grudge. This expense should not be an expense of the tax payers. After all, he refused to follow good advice given him by the county attorney. This bill, in its entirety, should be passed on to wiggins.

Congratulations Kristin. Now that the city has admitted that they wronged you and that you have suffered at their hands, we wish you only the best in your collection from the county. Since Wiggins ignored the advice of the county attorneys and felt that he was smarter than they, let the judgment be out of his pocket and not the counties'. He is regularly setting the":WIGGINS STANDARDS" and ignoring good advice. May you receive in excess of the $500,000.00 and may it come from Wiggins instead of the tax payers. Also, he should not be paid for the trial time, the preparation time and he should be charged for all expenses incurred by the county. After all, his actions indicate that he feels that we do not need county attorneys. It is about time that he learns a lesson about what is RIGHT AND WRONG. THE "WIGGINS STANDARD" FAILS AGAIN. Maybe a recall would get his attention.

Another case or situation based on the "WIGGINS" standards. Wiggins blatantly disregarded the advice of the county attorneys and proceeded with his intentions to again hurt, destroy or inconvenience someone. Since Wiggins paid no attention to the advice of the county attorneys. why should we, the tax payers, pay for his defense. Also, when the settlement or verdict comes, and it will, it should be directed to WIGGINS and not the county---the tax payers. In addition to this, he should not receive any salary during the time allotted to the trial. Since he has chosen to operate by his self-imposed WIGGING STANDARDS he has proven to not be trustworthy, have no respect for the judicial system and not take the guidance of the county attorney, he should be removed from office. Best of luck Ms Bantle and let justice be served.

RHYS JONES+++++BE ASHAMED OF YOUR SELF. AFTER ALL, YOU DO GIVE US REASON TO BE ASHAMED OF YOUR COMMENTS. Being from SOUTH of Oak Creek does not make one a resident of a GHETTO!!! There are more quality people in South Routt than you obviously know. Some of the BEST people in Routt County live in that area. Just because they have a job, where they actually work, does not make them a GHETTO resident. Neither does having calluses on their hands instead of on their butts. Again, RHYS, BE ASHAMED.

Wayne Eller 8 months, 2 weeks ago on Pay to Play: Working group poised to recommend city ask voters to create new parks and rec district

Tax this. Tax that. The true value of something is the amount that those who use it are willing to pay in order to use it. I truly believe that most of the people that use most of the things that we are taxed for, are not property owners or are second and third homeowners. Either way, Steamboat / Routt County, full-time residents should not have to pay for tourists' enjoyment. How many of us, the working class, use these items on a regular basis?? We are again becoming the era of Masters and Slaves---Masters having more money than they can ever spend and the Slaves being the ones that are living at or below poverty levels. To call someone a " Working Class " person is a compliment. After all, that is the group that funds these taxes.
