Dr. V and Lisa,
Your passion for this is undeniable, and it could be put to good use in this community-if only all your efforts were put towards a legitimate cause....say towards ridding the county of meth makers/dealers/etc......or maybe prescription drugs......or cocaine. You know, real problems that no one will argue with you about. Real problems ladies.
Good stuff Seeuski.
Once again, can we repeat together...........weather is not climate. Knucklhead.
You and Sean Hannity say the same thing everytime it snows. Why no stupid comments this summer about the droughts and relentless heat in Texas?
Welcome to the party Beavers. Don't try to flash your intelligent remarks around here. They don't work in this forum. Only strong unsupportable opinions please, based on rhetoric and fantasy. Strictly biased arguments that reflect what Glenn Beck, Rushbo, or Fox and Friends said this morning.
Paul Ryan? Ha!
Talk about wearing blinders. What is it about Paul Ryan's plan that is such a great idea? Tax cuts for the rich? Less regulations?
How'd that work out for you the last go 'round? What were the Bush tax cuts called?
Economic Growth and Tax Reconciliation Act of 2001. How'd that help our economy Lizard? Jobs and Growth Tax Relief Recociliation Act of 2003. Oh that was a good name too-how'd that one work out.
Blinders for the right wing.
Here's a youtube video I found interesting. Fox didn't air this.
New York Observer: Exclusive "Occupy Wall Street" Unaired Fox Footage
Seeuski's back! Cherry picking anything she can to try to blame Obama for our current problems.
"The Energy Department’s loan-guarantee program, enacted in 2005 with bipartisan support, has backed nearly $38 billion in loans for 40 projects around the country. Solyndra represents just 1.3 percent of that portfolio — and, as yet, it’s the only loan that has soured. Other solar beneficiaries, such as SunPower and First Solar, are still going strong. Meanwhile, just a small fraction of loan guarantees go toward solar. The program’s biggest bet to date is an $8.33 billion loan guarantee for a nuclear plant down in Georgia. Improper political influence in the process is disturbing, but, at least so far, Solyndra appears an exception, not a rule."
Wow, 1.3% of all the gov't backed loans. Good argument there. It reminds me of all the time you wasted with Obama's birth cert.
It should also be noted that the loan process began under the Bush administration, but who really cares other than Fox and Seeuski.
Political games are fun.
All this over your confusion of Amendment 20? So you voted "for" MMJ? And now you don't like your vote?
Something tells me you, and people who are with you, didn't vote "for" MMJ anyway, so what's the fuss?
Be careful folks-the debate is being led into new territory by the less than 2 year part time resident, who is worried about the community. The newest argument is that newborns are testing positive at "frighteningly large percentages". Interesting angle, and probably one of many new baseless claims to come as we get closer to a vote. Hey, you know what else might be true, but maybe not, but who cares because I can say it without citing any source?
-Marijuana use among physicians has frighteningly increased in the past 2 years, according to many important people, who shall remain anonymous, but are still very important people.
-Parents actually having conversations with their kids about the dangers of substance abuse, and the importance of making good decisions, has increased exponentially.
-The percentage of people who think MJ use has exploded due to dispensaries, has increased substantially.
-The amount of tax revenue available to the city, from a previous black market industry, has increased frighteningly.
-The amount of black market dealers has decreased at a frighteningly high pace.
Oh, and by the way, Seeuski-that's just pathetic. Are you really that bored? You're still on the Orly Taitz email list?
Let me remind you of some things, because you've obviously forgotten a fair amount:
Prescription Drug Benefit
Bush Tax Cuts
Now ask yourself-when did these occur? I'll give you a hint-before Obama was sworn in.
Watched a minute or two of Hannity a couple nights ago-he actually blamed Obama for the housing crisis! Ha!
Pitthannitypoodle. Can the political debate be based on more lies than what I see currently?
Do you remember this? http://www.money-zine.com/Investing/Stocks/Stock-Market-Crash-of-2008/
Take note of all the dates please.
I'll take a look at Rick Perry, as long as he comes up with more than just cutting taxes for the rich. Sorry lizard, your game is so old it pains me to listen. "thank you Obama and Obamacare"? Are you kidding me? Can't even debate you with that crap. Not even worth it. The economy was fine until Obama? Serious? We're done. Go back to trying to impress us with your knowledge of economic theory. Unbelievable.
That's my biggest gripe these days. People like lizard. She's so impressed with her own knowledge of economic theory, that she loses touch with reality. Here's some economic theory I learned in life 101. The economy tanks when no one is working. Here's a perfect opportunity for lizard to state, once again, the obvious. Corporations are taxed too much, so they move to where they aren't taxed too much. Sorry lizard, I know you were hoping to point that out to me again.
I can't debate with lizard, because all she can do is bash Obama and tell us how well supply side economics works (how's it really working lizard), and how everything was fine until Obama's keynsian policies. What Keynesian policies have really been instituted? None really. I'd just like to hear you say, just once, that the economy tanked prior to Obama. Is that possible?
Time for a new approach lizard. Time to get real. The voters are really tired of the politics.
Pretty sick of hearing how great the Bush years were for creating wealth. Creating wealth in a bubble is nothing to be proud of. Where did all that wealth go? What's the percentage of those who really became wealthy, and maintained that wealth through the recession? Not good numbers unfortunately.
