Was thinking the same thing :)
This is my experience with the owner. It happened several years ago.I had some friends come in from out of town and he tried to double billed them. He pretty did to them what happened to this couple. He tried to get every dime he could from them. The hotel in my opinion is a dump. When you walk into the lobby,it smells like you are in a ashtray. A little dog pee/poo might make the place smell better.
I guess all those folks who canceled their reservations, feel pretty stupid now.
I was not aware they still had stores. Every Blockbuster where i live has been close for at least two years or more.
Slap on the wrist. OK promise me you will be a good boy and not do it again.
I counted on the bus to take me everywhere in the dead of winter, when i lived there. But eight months out of the year i rode my bike. However,i think people should still have access to the bus.I seen another person comment it is time to charge for the bus.I know times are hard for some but a 20-25 dollar a month pass(fee) to ride all buses seems reasonable.
"The cuts also will allow the city to tap into its reserve funds only to make a $330,000 debt payment on the Iron Horse Inn"
I will never understand why the city bought this turd?
This rocks !!!! :)
Wow have not lived in Steamboat in years. But there seems to be a lot more crime, other than petty stuff.I lived there for three years came back and lived there for a summer.I would leave my bike unlocked where ever i was and it never was messed with.I would not be so sure nowadays. Then today i read about the cars getting broke into.It make my heart weary to read such things.
Not cool dude.
