Yes, I agree that all the counter productiveness is a step in the wrong direction. It because the people are in a fearful state, backed up against the wall. This country has the opportunity to make the choices in their actions good or bad. As we have heard it many times the children are our future! And let us all lead by example. The people whom have had wide-eyes during this whole idea , hoped to get rich on 700. reality is hard to swallow . We Do not need 700. We can't even sustain what we have now.
MtnSmith a gondola sounds great. BUT whom will let the support towers in their backs yards? ? even if gas is at $4.00 a gal people I believe will still drive . Making HWY 40 four lanes out to Steamboat II will just bottleneck the problem there.
