Riders use your head if the ground is wet your tracks stay for the summer. Be patient and everything will be open soon.
Dont be like the fool who every year rides their horse up Lupin punching holes the whole way.
Conspiracy???? Did they hold him down and force him to drink? He admitted to drinking that night but says he was not over the legal limit. Thats fine but it is against the law to have a weapon when consuming any alcohol. How do you get out of that one. They planted the gun on him?
Thank you for giving us this glimpse of a person who would have been so great for our nation in his position of power and trust for so many years if his life hadn't been stolen from us. Your story has inspired me and will help me to be a better person today.
Caroline is a rarety in sports. Her attitude and committment is matched by none. She has survived far worse and now it time to show the ski team their mistake by not inviting her back. By the way John Russell good to see an article not about your lame athletic life.
As is often the case, the vocal minority is heard the loudest. I still applaud Michelle for her passion and efforts. If more of the supporters had the same passion for their cause they could figure out a way to get this done without a tax burden. The Steamboat Youth Hockey Association figured it out and turned the facility over to the city to run after they raised enought funds to built the rink. There are ways to do this, as there are a lot more people who would potentially use the Rec Center than what use the hockey rink. The rink was built by dedicated individuals who would not take no for an answer.
Of course we can all benefit from a Rec Center but do we want to shoulder the cost. It appears that 65% of respondents say no we do not want this cost. We will find out on next Tuesday. In the mean time Michelle keep pushing for your cause. You are doing more for the rec center than a group of adults who have raised money to advertise the benefits of this center. Maybe you should chair this group and get the real facts out to the public. Whenever I see a group formed that raises money to get the facts out to the public I am usually skeptical of those facts whether it is for or against.
As for a swimming facility, go to the school board and build a pool. Again concerned people raised the money to put an artificial surface down at Gardner Field. Does anyone know what it would cost to put in a competition pool at the high school? I know it would be a fraction of the $34,000,000 price tag that is currently on the rec center. The Steamboat swim team can be the beneficiary of this type of program and help fund the cost of running it. The school board just threw away $279,000 by getting rid of Donna Howell, was she really that bad? So it appears that there is money to be had from the school board so ........
I might be wrong on this be he cannot get out of having a concealed weapon and under the influence of alcohol. Under the influence occures when you have a drink. He has admitted to that publically. Every person who has a drinking problem will tell you they had a drink but they were not intoxicated. It is called d-e-n-i-a-l.
If the county Commissioners cannot get cooperation concerning county proceedures before an incident then certainly don't expect it now. The problem is they let this go on without taking action against Wall in the first place. I agree, lets get the Attorney General involved and get this taken care of.
Does anyone know where Wall is in his certification? Has he done any of the steps. He seems to play by his own rules and has his lawyer figure it out. Arn't the county commissioners Walls boss? If I told a boss that I won't sign an accountability statement I would be fired. Why do we let this clown just keep making up his own rules. I think he has painted himself into the corner on this one. Good luck GAAARRRYYY
I wonder if Gary Wall was without a multiplex REC center as a child and this is what caused his most recent public blunder.
Dr. D and Gary - I thought of this earlier. That would be the ticket.
