Never no when you will be forced to ride on financially or DUI.
Well I guess that I may have to get a second job to keep up with the gas prices, you have me on that one, but DUI, sorry maybe you are dumb enough to drink and drive but not me.
According to all the wilderness regulations that I could find a bike is spefically mentioned as not being allowed. I hope that this person is fined the same as if he were a 4-wheeler or snowmobiler that had gotten caught doing this.
I realize that this is an opinion piece and we know that the past history between the egos involved, but if this would have been written by anyone else the Pilot would not have allowed it to be published.
Wow, having not read this thread before today, I couldn't keep from cracking up at all the posts from people going off on foodchain. I would like to prescribe a week's worth of Family Guy and South Park viewing to all of those who missed the "Boat."
I am not at all suprised by the news. We all knew that this has been coming for a long time. Residents of Sleepy Bear had better wake up and smell the coffee because they are next. I can't think of anyone that would have not advised the man who bought a trailer there 6-months ago what a shaky investment that he was making.
Well I am not sure of what days of the week Triple Crown is requesting to use the field but 4-days a week for a 3-week period seems like quite a long time to me given the length of the summer season in Routt County. If you have a 12-week summer vacation when school is not in session, that would be approximately 1/4 of the summer break. To me that does not seem like just a few days. I am sure someone will tell me how wrong I am but it seems like quite a period of time to me.
Oh well, it is time locals faced the fact that City Council and Chamber of Commerce really doesn't care about the locals and their brats. What they care about is where the bucks are coming from to build bigger and better.
I find it funny that some keep saying that we don't want to be another Aspen or Vail but that is exactly what some are chasing.
