Plea deal in murder case results in 40-year sentence May 24, 2016
I have known Barb for many years and she has always been a good friend.Bless you Barb.
The ONLY benefit is to line the coffers of the developers. Are we at a shortage of drug stores ?? What about the ONLY locally owned drug store ?? Does the council care about locally owned businesses or helping the developers to make more money ?? It is time to take a stand and tell these "white shoe boys" to take a hike and go to Silverthorne or Estes Park.
Welfare for the ski corp?? No wait, welfare is for the poor white folk and people of color. "Subsidies" are for the well-healed. Too bad that I won't be around to vote "NO". Let the ski corp & the Chamber pay the freight.
What a shame. What to do without the masses ??
Oscar, trust me Judge Hill is no liberal. She thinks like a prosecutor in that a sentence to prison is just a revolving door. In truth one must serve at least 40 to 50 % of your sentence to become parole eligible and then almost no one makes parole on the first time around. Then, if paroled, there are several years of mandatory parole.
Frankly this sentence offends me as I had numerous clients sent off to prison for thousands and thousands of dollars less in loss value. The white collar crooks go on probation, the poor go to prison.
Ann Coulter? That Ann Coulter ?? You want $$$ to see listen to her ? Please take your right-wing garbage somewhere else.
When SLO operated the business were they loud at times ?? Did the neighbors complain ?? Did they move in while the noise was going on?? Just like moving in next to an airport and then complaining about the noise?? The Roadhouse is good for the area which can certainly use a vibrant business. Leave them be and quite fooling around with too many needless regulations. Glad that Ms. Stahoviak won't be around with the commissioners to resolve this matter. She alone has done too much over the years to hurt the county's business. Good time to retire.
