This is so shocking. I have known Todd for many years thru all of the places he worked. We became reacquainted when he went to work at The Dollar Tree. He was always so helpful and seemed to be happy in his work. I will surely miss his smiling face.

My take on this is that she may have just got to going faster than she intended ... reached speeds that she could not control and thus caused her accident. Some of us are not as well controlled on our skis as others. Let's not be so quick to dis our 'bread-and-butter' guests.
There is no way to know what portion of our contributions go directly to CANCER research. However, most of us can give testimony of remission and/or a cure and a new lease on life for a family member or friend. We have to believe that our contributions are part of this effort.
