Steamboat Briefs: Hayden man killed in rollover Wednesday night

LTFO:
Do you have a job or do you just sit on the Pilot website making a fool of yourself? Get a life. It appears by the repeated removal of your posts you are the only one "calling people names."

Gosh with your incessant political ramblings and comments posted on nearly every topic possible on this website I'm surprised you're jumping the gun on this one. Apparently "suspected" is now admission of guilt. No need for toxicology reports here people....this guy is omniscient. He also uses George Bush quotes completely out of context and refers to certain people as monkeys, a lot. You betcha! Alcohol can be evil, that's true. However, it appears your vice is hiding behind a capital letter moniker spreading your viral little opinion on anything and everything on this teeny tiny little Steamboat Springs newspaper website. No doubt you will continue this spewing long after this topic is closed. I will save myself any more useless key strokes.

I had no idea there was more than one internet. Again, I have learned something.

A teachable moment? I'm not arguing the fact that seat belts save lives. It goes WITHOUT saying. It's just sad to read people's comments that come off as nothing more than a callous after school special lecture. I know this family and I knew this man. I'm not just some casual observer waiting to jump in and give my haughty two-cent opinion about a funny, loving, caring, good-hearted family man who made a mistake and has paid the ultimate price for it.

Oscar, I think the sad lesson to learn from would be your utter lack of compassion to those of us who knew Martin. How dare you blog your self ritcheous banter. I hope others learn that they shouldn't judge someone who has left behind a family and many friends on a public forum such as this. Why don't you all do something useful today on the computer? Google the word compassion. Pretend this was one of your family members or a friend before you go blasting your insensitivities all over this page. You will be missed Martin...

Data collection efforts reveal significant July 4 river usage, littering

Hey Scott, you must have missed my boyfriend and I fishing from our rafts while our friends tubed around us. Make it 3 "lone fishermen." I saw plenty of people attempting to fish so that comment is completely inaccurate.

County presses Wall

Someone should tell Gary Wall that this is happening all over our town. My salary was cut weeks ago. What a great message this sends to our community.

Tubing ban suggested by DOW

Agreed localboy. Steamboat needs to eliminate the commercial tubing aspect. Last summer my friends and I witnessed the littering by some idiots "on vacation." A heated verbal altercation ensued and we picked up the beer bottles ourselves. These are the people that are ruining our river not us locals. By the way, we are all anglers too.
