Great article! Makes me want to start a bat house building brigade (BBB)!
Wow. Very single minded.
A more rigorous DOT exam is NOT punishment! It DOES simply raise the bar all around for safety not only for the drivers but those around them. Do you remember Joe Bell? He was struck down and killed by a trucker who ran off the road....(for unknown reasons!!!) I've seen long distance truckers do crazy and dangerous twists and turns on our highways. I'd venture to say some are ticking time bombs because MONEY not safety TALKS.
A really good art/craft supply store like Pearl Paint would be awesome! There are so many artistic and creative people in this town not to mention that the "craft" section at Walmart has gone completely to #$@%!!!
Joe made a huge impact from the time he left LaGrande to the moment he posted his last sentence on FB nearing Kit Carson County. He helped start a dialogue about this issue that should and will continue across the rest of the country. I'm honored to have helped. I will miss him.
Really inspiring work!
God Speed Joe. See you in New York!
I like the night skiing idea and I have a residence at the Edgemont. I am concerned about the risks of this type of lighting. Induction lighting produces signals that can interfere with electronic devices and radio signals. The interference comes from electromagnetic radiation released by the lights. This can effect computers and medical equipment. ALSO, MERCURY plays an important role in induction lamps. If a lamp breaks, you've got a mercury spill!!!!! This needs to be addressed at this first of two meetings. Are there other types of lighting to consider?
