James - Obviously you did not notice that the call was my OWN RECORDING and the SERVICE was PAID for by my OWN CAMPAIGN, not a PAC with outside funding. If you hadn't spent time investigating the irrelevant fact, you wouldn't have missed the relevant one. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY FUNDING FROM OUTSIDE SOURCES!

Unfortunate for the voters that this story doesn't even mention the IMPORTANT FACT that political action pacs don't have to report their funding of candidates until AFTER the election. Therefore, complete financial disclosure is only available for a few of the candidates running for school board. Makes it difficult for the voters to access where the money is really coming from for some of the candidates before they cast their ballots.

The above comments are correct regarding the funding of my campaign, as well as the assumption that I have contributions and self funding to cover costs incurred, but not due, before the Oct. 8th reporting date. Please visit my website annelowe4steamboatschools.com for more information

With all this contention in the community, it's going to take a willingness to communicate and collaborate with all involved stakeholders as a new school board member to address these concerns.
