if you are uncomfortable answering the door then don't. if you don't want the torillas or cookies or conversion or whatever, then just say "no, thank you".
the reason bb succeeds is that they offer more choices and better prices. it really is that simple. we all would like to shop locally but when the time comes to actually buy, we buy where the prices and selection are best.
i am undecided about 700. The infrastructure contribution is needed to address many future problems whether it's 2000 homes or just 35 acre lots. i don't think many of our "workers" will be able to purchase a home there anyway, but 2000 is a lot of homes. does this increase in supply mean the demand for existing homes diminishes? if so, self interest would say vote no. still thinking
i am local and i tried to support B&J. My first and only time i got a golf ball sized scoop for $4.50 !! if you are anywhere near the clark store in summer you get a softball sized scoop for $2.50 and it's called a small.
Walls comments at first make sense. The problem is that he alone is determining what level of law enforcement, staffing etc that is required. His budget has increased substantially during the past few years. Did we not have law enforcement during those years? His gesture of a $30,000 reduction is a slap in the face of all workers and officials who are trying to deal with the budget shortfall. It's all about him and his judgement of what is needed. His arrogance is overwhelming.
Absolutely not. I love dogs (cats too) but don't like wondering if the dog approaching me is friendly or not. Also dogs running at me on my bike or running through my flowers is not right. What we need is more responsible dog owners who care for their pets, clean up after them and keep them on leashes. I'm all for owning a dog if you want (i have had plenty) and having lots of fun with them but not at the cost of invading others space.
the price of tea in china is 4,598 yen to the cup. which is of course the relevant answer to the question of what our actions as a defense to your actions have to do with the price of tea in china.

ps if i dont agree with a law a might take the drastic step of trying to get that law changed, rather then just disregarding the law.
