Dear Rep Tipton -
According to the new report by the Congressional Budget Office, 14 million people will lose their health care in the first year of Trumpcare with another 10 million losing health care by 2026, for a total of 24 million losing health care under Trump.
Additionally, according to the CBO, Trumpcare would cut taxes dedicated to finance Medicare by at least $117 billion and cut Medicaid by $370 billion, in order to give a huge tax cut to the wealthy, including a $7 million annual tax break to the wealthiest 400 U.S. households.
And by the way, "telephone town halls" are not meetings with your constituents - they are cynically stage-managed events where only the people you want to allow to speak are able to get through and ask questions -- they are infomercials.
Agreed - the "Leadership Program of the Rockies" appears to be a very conservative political organization, that exists primarily to get more conservatives into local government positions (http://www.leadershipprogram.org/). I value and trust the leadership of teachers, and the school board candidates who they support.

Yay Molly! We are all so proud of you.
Love the hot-desk/conference facility idea. Also useful would be a pay-per-use telepresence/high-def video conferencing suite -- perhaps a small Regus Business Center? That being said, reliable wi-fi is the most important thing of all. Citywide wi-fi would be great. If increased flights into HDN are not feasible, an alternative to the Alpine Taxi DIA shuttle would be nice.
BTW, Steamboat's own LNB study from about 7 years ago noted that many LNB workers are well paid, and tend to be active in their community. My friends at the SSWSC, Steamboat Relay for Life, Steamboat Rotary and Routt County Democrats would agree!
In addition to his "day job" at Colorado Group Realty, Bart Kounovsky is an avid cyclist, runner and cross-country skier. Few people can bring to the table the same level of financial experience, coupled with a genuine appreciation for the natural beauty that makes Steamboat unique. I heartily applaud City Council's decision to appoint Bart to the vacant seat. Steamboat will be the richer for it.
An inspiring message, well aimed at teenage kids, without any political bias -- this should be broadcast live to all students in the District, in order to underline the message that education is the key to success in America.
