Yampa Valley Medical Center pursues merger with UCHealth March 1, 2017
This valley has reached it limit. There are still 2 more projects in the back ground[ 360, overlook] There is no way this valley can handle such a major expansion. This area needs to be 35 arce ranchetts. Let people live in the outlying areas. If I read the water report correctly ,we will have to put a dam on the Elk river. If we limit the growth here, we won't have to destroythe elk river valley. There is plenty of housing available now. Don't see any of you whinners who say they can't afford to live here jumping on it. Lets dam the elk so fluffy will have a place to run!
There are still two more developments in that area. This valley can not sustain such a large addition. This area should be 35 arce ranchetts. This would keep us from having to build all the extras to handle it. If I remember , the water report states that we will have tho dam the Elk River to handle this growth. I do not want to see the Elk River be destroyed so fluffy will have a place to run! Please vote no on the 700. This valley has too much to loose if it passes. I would rather pay a city property tax than see the last of our valley destroyed
