I know this dog well. He is an awsome dog with so much love to give. How much more to help others with disabilities to be able to know that they can overcome and be like kandu happ go lucky and do not let your disabilities stop you with your life goals.
It seems to me that we are losing more and more of our freedom of speech. In these days and age it seems that we are growing to have less freedom due to terrorism, shooting in the work place and all sorts of bad people out there. I suppose this is just one more of those freedoms lost in order to protect the people. I feel it's just another scare tactic to make the people have a false sense of security in there lives. Yet I guess if we want to keep posting we have a choice. Either except the new way or get off and hold your thoughts to yourselves. For me I have nothing to hide so I guess I'll selectively post as I have been. I enjoy reading what everyone has to say ad will miss some of these comments some of which are very interesting and thought provoking. I like it when others really get you t think out side the box. Take care and have a great day
Shara,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. May Yahweh Bless you and keep you all in His care. And May He help the doctors to find out what is wrong and heal your son. I pray that this community can come together to help you in this time of need.
Tyler,
Keep up the fight, We are all hanging in there for you. You will be on that wresteling team soon. You are a great kid.
Teyha,
We are all pulling for your brother. And we pray for you too to have strength. Continue loving your brother and encouraging him through this rough time. As we all pray for the best for you all.
Take care
I agree that it's not just the bicyclists that are the problem this is everyone problem, I see it all the time. I especially see it on my way home from work in the afternoon. We all need to slow down. I live on the outside of town because I can't afford to live in town therefore, I to have a commute back and forth. I see the Bicyclists and the motorists who both are idiot drivers. We all need to work together as a team. Help each other out and we should hopefully see a change. The times are not getting any better economically and I do believe we will start seeing more an more alternative transportation happening and we are ALL going to have to adjust to the inflow of different traffic. In order for it to work we are all going to have to obey the law better, and be more courteous to each other! It's time to put down the sword and put up the hand shake and say let's work this out so we all can use the road. I'm sure allot of the bicyclist also own vehicles therefore they are paying taxes on these roads they just opt to use a different form of transportation for health and the economy. I am just as frustrated as the next person but when will we all start to work this out instead of bickering at each other? Why not have a community meeting with a mediator to help out and work over all the pro's and con's and then, maybe we can come to some kind of an agreement that we can all live together in. For this issue will always be here, how we deal with it will determine how we all will get along.
Have a fantastic day!
Bluntman: It doesn't matter that gas is $4.00 a gallon. I just wish that we all could start using the road together in unity. Nobody needs to too put the other person down be it cyclist or vehicle driver. We should all be able to use the road in a friendly matter.
When I first moved hear 25 years ago everyone gave each other driving courtesy. Cars would let bicyclist go through stop signs, and bicyclist would wave a car through. I remember when they would say hi to each other. What happened to those days? Now it seems to be you against me. Is there a way possible to bring that friendliness back? I sure keep hoping there is a way.
Bickering about each other isn't going to solve anything, we need to come together to understand both sides of the situation in order to come to some kind of understanding that we can both live with and help each other out. I love to ride a bike just as much as the next person. Just because I can't doesn't mean I'm fat or the person fat. Let's stop throwing insults and instead find a solution.
Have a beautiful day.
In my opinion, I don't mind sharing the roads with bicyclist. I think it's great that they are out there riding and getting exercise. Some of us can't ride because of injuries, or disabilities. So I hope you are not expecting us not to be driving our vehicles.
On another point of interest, I would like to say I have known some great riders, yet, I have also seen a lot of arrogant riders. It's amazing how many I have come across that don't think they need to stop for stop signs. I have had the right away many times and have had riders blaze right threw the stop sign to where I have had to slam on my breaks. Then, to top it of they turn around and flip me the birdie, as if it's my entire fault that they almost got hit.
They don't have licenses on the bike so you can't call the police to report them. So what do you do? If they want us o show them respect which I d try. I wish more of them would start showing us respect too. Isn't that what it means to share the road?
Hopefully the bicyclist out there will learn a lesson from this week's incident and start paying a little more attention on the road. Where's the courtesy hand jester that could be given by both parties. Let's try and show each other a little more courtesy. The road belongs to all not just one group of people.
Have a great day!
I'M HERE WELL AND ALIVE,
I CAN'T BREATH, BUT I'm AWARE.
I HAVE NE EYES, BUT CAN SEE.
I HAVE NO EARS, BUT CAN HEAR.
I KNOW THE OLACE WHERE I AM.
I SEE IT VERY CLEARLY.
MA DOESN'T KNOW ME YET AND NEITHER DOES MY FATHER.
I BET THEY'LL BE THRILLED
TO HERE OF MY COMING.
I BET THEY'LL BE THRILLED TO SEE WHO I AM.
MOM AND DAD FINALLY HEARD THE NEWS.
DOC SAID THAT I'LL BE HEALTHY.
OH BOY, I JUST CAN'T WAIT TO SEE OUT THERE.
I WONDER IF I HAVE ANY BROTHERS OR SISTERS.
I HOPE MOMMY LIKES LITTLE GIRLS.
I'LL BE SO BEHAVED FOR MY PARENTS.
THEY WON'T EVEN KNOW I'M AROUND.
THEY'LL BE SO PROUD OF ME.
I'M 3 MONTHS NOW AND AM HAPPY. BOY, IT'S COMING CLOSER FOR MY TURN.
PRETTY SOON MOM AND DAD WILL SEE ME.
I BET THEY ARE DECIDING ON A NAME FOR ME.
I JUST FOUND OUT TODAY
ABOUT MOMMY AND DADDY.
THEY DON'T LOVE ME AT ALL.
MOMMY,SHE, SHE'S GOING TO KILL ME TODAY.
MOMMY, DADDY HOW COULD YOU?
I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME.
I'M PART OF YOUR FLESH AND BLOOD.
MOMMY AND DADDY, I HAD LOVED YOU, BOTH VERRY MUCH.

I WROTE THIS POEM AFTER I VISITED A HOSPITAL BACK IN WISCONSIN AND TALKED TO THE DOCTERS AND NURSES THERE ON ABORTION AND WHY THIS IS HAPPENING. AFTER LOOKING AT THE PICTURES OF ABORTED FETUSES I COULD ONLY COME TO ONE CONCLUSION AND THAT WAS ABORTION IS MURDER.
IF YOU ARE THINLING OF ABORTION PLEASE READ THE BOOK "WHO BROKE THE BABY?" BY JEAN STAKER CARTON. SEE WHAT THOSE WHO USE TO PERFORM ABORTIONS HAVE TO SAY NOW ABOUT IT. THEN MAKE YOUR DESICION.
I'M JUST ASKING FOR PEOPLE TO MAKE WISE CHOICES NOT ONES MADE ON FEAR OF THE WHAT IF'S.
TAKE CARE AND MAY YAWHEH BLESS YOU!
First off, I would like to thank Gary for this Article. I know this is a very touchy subject and almost taboo subject to talk about. I know of women who have had abortions and all of them I have seen regrets in them latter on in life that they did this knowing there was a life there.
I personally could not have had children of my own. But it was threw the unselfishness of other mothers who had there children that I was able to adopt my 2 children.
There are so many people who can not have children that would be willing adopt and even have an open adoption so that the Bio-Mom could still be a part of that Childs life. Yes. These ladies are scared at first who wouldn't be! Yet, where there's a will there's a way to make things work. What ever happened to abstinence before marriage? If you don't want to get pregnant don't have sex. Control yourself don't put yourself in those predicaments. I'm not trying to be cruel here I am just saying we are responsible for our own actions and how we deal with life relationships. By taking a life we are showing that we place no value on the most precious gift that could ever be given to us and that's a precious human life. Are we as a society that cold and heartless that we can just wipe away a life in a spilt of a second and say sorry it was the wrong time of my life. Really is there any perfect time. I don't think so. We as human beings need to start taking responsibilities for our own actions and that includes the life of an innocent child who can speak for himself.
It doesn't matter on how intoxicated this man was. What really needs to be addressed is the smoke detector. Why should the renter have to buy this? This should automatically be put in by the owner. It's there unit. They purchased it. So therefore, it should be there responsibility to ensure the safety of the unit. Yes, maybe he could have asked for one to be installed. And maybe he did ask, we don't know. The bottom line is that this didn't need to happen if the owners would have installed one before they rented out the apartment. When they bought the place they should have inquired if it was a legal apartment and if it has ever been inspected for safety. Those who are renting trust the landlords that everything is up to code and that they will fix what isn't. All I can say is that this was a tragedy that didn't need to happen. It's really hard to play the blame game. Everyone one involved all played a part in this tragedy. Now what needs to be done is to tighten the reigns on illegal units so that this type of tragedy doesn't happen again. Or is a human life not worth anything to anyone anymore these days. For each person that dies it affects a string of people who loved them. Food for thought!!
Have a Wonderful day!
