I concur completely, it seems all our City Council looks at is the $$$ and even though when they asked ALL city employees to take a 10% pay cut three years ago, and stated the employees would be the 1st on the list to be reinstated when things got better (sales tax numbers have been up more then down) this and other recent council decisions just continues to show that is not the case at all, our City Council members obviously have their own agenda and it does not seem to have any consideration for the need or wants of the community or its own city employees. Thank you EMT Corriveau for standing up for what right!
If Christmas is a sacred holiday that should be observed with store closures, then other beliefs sacred holidays such as Chanukah, Kwanza, Solstice, etc should also be observed in that same fashion. They are as important to those believers as Christmas is to Christians.
If the MMJ Dispensaries would run like an actual Pharmacy and NOT a Head Shop more people would be in favor of keeping them open and see the good they can do for those whom really are in need.
Why would the charges depend upon the shooters condition? Attempted Murder is Attempted Murder no matter what the shooters condition. Lets do this one right please.
Too many mistakes from start to finish! In any other US city all parties would have been charged with at least drunk & disorderly conduct, and upon Lopez's death a charge of involuntary manslaughter would have been added to the list. This entire mess has made Steamboat look like a po-dunk town.
Ghost Ranch owner says bar will reopen in the spring

Should more Steamboat Springs businesses make an effort to be open on Christmas Day in future years?

Steamboat Walgreens likely to open after new year
Please remember it was City Council that approved all the variances and let them do whatever they wanted, not any of the other commissions or staff.

1st-responders take witness stand at Capote assault trial
1 mistake, 2 mistakes, 3 mistakes 4 - will this simply open the Capote's door to freedom instead of the cell door they deserve?
