Ok, I agree about the sound however, the gals did alright in my opinion! Yeah, it wasn't like the "Song Remains the Same" tour at Madison Square Garden, NYC 1979, where Plant, Bonham and Page were at peak. But what the heck, it was free! Friends and neighbors are always good and the beer was cold! The memories of old are "all" good. May Led Zep live forever! Have a good day!

Well, I an only anticipate that this will open the door for bloggers to open dialog about issues on a confidential site, leaving their forum string address here, so that further discussions can take place and the Pilot will not have to worry! The stress of having to censor their site will be minimized and the same trash can be spilled and not at the Pilots expense! The string site can require the same sign up without reviling personal information and you can use a new identity to speak of the issue at hand! I guess the Pilot can't ban other reference sites, now can they! Then again, why bother. Keep it legitimate or be gone, right! Big brother is watching more than you know! Have a good day!

Brent, One could only anticipate that some slanderous things that were posted had a legal edge that the Pilot had to do some back peddling and review before liability of the matter took gain. Bully for you! There have been times I thought this new procedure should have been done a long time ago! Call me anytime with my credibility on my comments or opinions! I will give you the accurate information you need! I also feel I have kept restrained from throwing a fitted rage, even though some who post here create that environment. Logically, attacking issues instead of people seems to be a more educated and formal way to conduct business. When things get personal, they always get ugly because, the emotional freight train that follows can be unstoppable! Have a good day!

kielbasa, I agree, that is the best idea yet! Drunk Boat, Drug Boat, what ever little nickname you call it, it's still another Steamboat icon that is meeting its demise. The Short Branch, Hatch, Lost Dog and Diamond DJ were other watering holes lost to the diminishing youthful culture of the old local. A new age is here, like it or not. Now it's just all "back in the day"! Have a good day!

fartpark, Good music indeed however, can we hold it instead in Browns Park? LOL!

For many years Coloradoans have lived with a semi-dry state. Optimistically, maybe those who would travel to a bar on Sunday to buy regular beer and liquor, will buy at the liquor store and stay home and drink. Maybe bad news for bars owners however, good news for those who want to keep drunks off the road! Then again, people will party and drink like before however, this new law will force store owners to compete on Sundays and make it more convenient for those who drink to do so! I guess the key word here in convenience. We live in a society that loves to be convenience at someone else's expense. If liquor store owners want the day off, take it! That's why you're self employed, so you can make those decisions! Like anything in life, moderation is good and over indulgence is not. On that note, indulge on having a good day!

Ah yes! Thanks Scott! I've enjoyed the fire works here for 26 years! The 4th is my favorite holiday! To all our troops, vets and their families from past to present, Thank You! And to my fellow brothers in arms, a big ooh-rah Semper-Fi! Have a good evening.

In a day and age where population in Steamboat has increased along with visitors, I believe it is important to keep your cool when driving or riding. You never know when the guy or gal on the bike or in the car you flip off in anger will be your doctor, judge, lawyer, teacher, neighbor or minister that you offend! It's a small town! It's tough! Enough of the whining already! Have a good day!

coloradobu, I see you greet this subject with cynicism and sarcasm today. Even our middle school has had enough issues that required a police presence. It is my opinion that a police presence does not necessarily deter things; it makes it convenient for the schools when things do happen. It also makes it easier for S.O. response however, that comes with a price! It's my opinion, that the schools maybe receiving a taxpayer security service that may not totally be warranted on the statistical need as of current. I don't disagree with the fact that a police presence may have a larger impact on kids of that age, I just hope that the program they initiate will encourage the students and encourage positive behavior and not be abused by the students or the district. In a day and age where family situations are more complex and the domestic law has greater impact, this may be a benefit effort for all! It is my hope that the program is developed for "all" students, staff, parents, police, administration and not used as manipulative tool for control by any that I've listed. Have a good day!
