Dukebets-how do you make it through each day with your level of non-existent intelligence? The Colorado Make My Day Law doesn't extend to a cop who is in fresh pursuit of a suspect(s) that is running into a house. The world in your head is a little off center.

"Cargo" is a repeat offender and she got what she deserved....a little justice, electrocution style (ha, ha)....this is such a great story and I applaud the OCPD for taking the morons down in Oak Creek. Good people of Oak Creek=1, Morons of Oak Creek=0....game over!

Looks as though ole' "Cargo" got what she's had coming to her. Hey "Cargo", Karma is real and you have tasted 50,000 volts of it (ha, ha). It's a shame that you think you are above the law, but it's really funny that the law electrified you once again (zap, zap).

Wall didn't take the sobriety test and now says that he wishes he would have. He says this after dragging the whole Sheriff's Office, and its employees, through the mud.

Why was the jury only allowed to hear the 1 portion of that tape? There is a clear indication that the tape was not the full story and that the tape did indeed back up Eldridge's testimony when listened to fully. What a disservice to not allow the jury to hear the whole tape.

shadow-1 stated his opinion and did not waiver. The other stated his opinion, then changed it, and then changed it again (all while on the stand). Read the testimony article-mackey says 1 thing which is stated at the beginning of the article and then says 2 different things which are at the end of the article.

Mackey goes from saying the sheriff was sober, to saying it was an awkward situation and he did not want to form an opinion, to saying he could not tell whether or not the sheriff was under the influence (3 completely different statements while on the stand).

Isn't a trained cop supposed to recognize the signs of whether or not somebody is intoxicated? Mackey, "could not tell whether he was under the influence of alcohol or not."

Mackey's own statements on the stand point to the fact that he is not being forward with the truth. Has he arrested anybody for DUI? How can he be certain those he arrested for DUI were under the influence if he "could not tell" whether the sheriff was drunk or not??? Sure sounds like mackey is covering up to save his butt.

Steamvent-who would you believe? The deputy who was arrested for domestic violence (mackey) and can't afford to lose another cop job or the deputy who has nothing to lose by telling the truth.

Seems obvious to me who is telling the truth and I commend dep. eldridge for that.

Stompk - I do believe you just threatened me on a public forum. Let me refresh your memory, "They don't call me stomp for nothing. Don't call me a fool again." Are you trying to scare me, because it worked and I'm terrified. Please don't "stomp" me stompk. What's with the spy helicopter crap and being followed by no less than 10 different cars? Do you really think you're that important or are you watching too much t.v. and spending too much time on the computer - probably all of the above. Your theory on the "great Sheriff cover-up" is bogus and foolish, you obviously like to make idle threats on a public forum, and you seem to be off of your meds. Those are my opinions and you sir, are entitled to yours. Free speech is a wonderful thing, but don't threaten people for it. I could have called you other, more terrible things, but I feel that is inappropriate. Relax stompk, being called foolish isn't the end of the world - or is it?

stompk - you didn't tell us anything. You said that the arresting officer's daughter told you the story at her bus stop (the Sheriff had somebody pulled over, was drunk, and was issuing a ticket). That doesn't tell me anything. You need to clarify a lot of things. Was the arresting officer that you speak of from the State Patrol or another agency? Apparently, the 2 State Trooper's on scene and handling the stop don't have kids that would be waiting for the bus. Stompk, you have a lot to prove about this so called story you heard from the girl waiting for her bus.

You are being misled and you are spouting off things that do not make sense. You also fail to realize, and I don't know how because it's common sense, that the Sheriff can't pull people over and issue tickets - he's not certified by the state of Colorado to do so. In other words stompk, he is not a police officer since he hasn't been certified. When are you going to understand that? I beg of you not to post your "story from the little girl at the bus stop" anymore. You sound foolish.
