Its so important to remember "keep it local." Over 15% of the USA is on food stamps, and 45% live on more than they make, meaning credit. Knowing that 15% of the population has NO money to eat on is shocking. Knowing that there is a lack of understanding of growing, or taking care of themselves is even more shocking. Most people seem to be blind what is taking place on a world level with the slow removal of the US Dollar as the world currency. When all things fall in place we can only hope that it would be like the 1930, but I do think it will be far more of an impact. As my old Daddy would say; "Better grab your own arrs kid! Its going to be rough." We will all need to be able to rely on each other, help each other, and support each other. Keeping it local is most important, make it simple. As an old hippy, keep the government out of it as much as possible. The FDA, USDA, and EPA is oozing with Monsanto employees, not to forget the head of the FDA is an X Monsanto President....thanks to the sell out of George Obama!!

This photo says it all. Look where this bike is right on the white line, and the handle bars are over the line. This is the complaint of many. People who ride bikes tend to be very inconsiderate of drivers. THEY hog the road, and in my view place danger to the driver. WE have to swing out of our lane into on coming traffic to go around them. I would think they need to learn to share the road, and remember a truck or a car is a large heavy machine, and is NOTHING to be playing chicken with. It is also about simple physics. It take more time to stop a larger vehicle.

For those who ride bikes, please remember your manors, and share the road.

Michelle Hale 1 year, 2 months ago on Alex Berger: Keep fluoridation out

Funny how Fluoride is the number one compound in most anti-depressants. or that it was the compound used by the Nazi's. It also causes Hypo-Thyroid issues that one in three women now have (most don't know it) and one in five men. There is NO reason for Fluoride to be in anything, even all toothpaste has a "poison" warring on the label because of the Fluoride, that should be a clue. I also have always found it odd that in the 60s it became an issue to make sure all children get fluoride everyday. About the same time that the young people of this nation was using their voice. I make my own toothpaste, an NO Fluoride.

I would NEVER embrace any "News" that filed a lawsuit against the FCC FOR THE RIGHT TO LIE.. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20090811183807AAe4Eh8 Please who believe anything from our selected media needs to remember how to read. Fox News is also backed by major money from Prince Alweed, from Saudi. He HATES Americans. He is the third richest man in the world. He has stated many times that to defeat America, you must divide them. I would say Fox News does that very well. He also came out on 9/11 with a statement that "America had it coming." Go ahead and support Fox News...make you a large part of the problem.

Michelle Hale 1 year, 5 months ago on Mike Lederhause: Colorado disgraced

The simple fact is this. Very few murders are done with legal weapons as a whole. Gun laws are going after people who are above board, not the dirt bags. Chicago is the perfect place to look. They have the strongest gun laws in the USA, and the highest murder rate. Why? Because;" When guns are outlawed only outlaw will have guns."

When I lived in New Mexico there were more than one person I knew that I could get any kind of brand new gun. Never registered and any make or model. It was cash only, end of story. The people that sold these guns were everyday people. So the idea of having to have a background check is a joke. If you really think for a moment that more gun law will effect crime, you are wrong. Only when people have the right to have the same fire power of the criminal and government, we have fair law. For those of you who do not believe you are loosing your rights. Why don't you Google NDAA and read through that law that was past. You (we) are no longer covered by our First, Fifth or Tenth Amendments of the United States. It was past by over 90 plus Senators, and signed into LAW by our Presidents in 2012. Yet nothing on TV, or in any paper about it. So I agree. Wake up Sleepwalkers. Also remember OUR Government is the largest arms dealer in the world! One must ask, why doesn't the Government want it's people to be armed with what they sell all over the world?

When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. When the government fears the people, there is liberty. Thomas Jefferson

Kind of sums it up. We as well armed as your Government. When Government stands in the way of that, you should ask why, and get ready.

Michelle Hale 1 year, 5 months ago on Joe Meglen: Gun control laws

Our Supreme court has made some real bonehead choices that go against our Constitution. Just as they did when they said; Corporations are People too! Or, how about their choice to uphold the Patriot Act and the NDAA, Those take away our first, fifth and tenth Constitutional rights. Yet you'll see NOTHING in any paper about it. What a jaw drop! Read about the NDAA... better yet..... how about the efforts in Colorado to stand against the NDAA, and IT FAILED... Get ready because the conversation about the use of Government and Drones are coming soon.

Michelle Hale 1 year, 5 months ago on Joe Meglen: Gun control laws

What far too many do not want to embraces is this. The Constitution of this nation put in place rights for all people, but more than that Rule for Government so that it would not get out of control. The second amendment is about the right to stand against Tyranny. With the idea that our President has the right to "KILL" Americans, to spy on Americans is outrageous. Our US Government is the largest arms dealer in the world. Isn't it a little strange the things they sell all over the world you can't have here? Just as assanine as the limit of bullets in a clip.... so bring more clips. I for one as a very "liberal" person do not want Government telling me what I can do with my body, and the choices I make. I do not want government to tell me what I can do with property. Or, do I think government has the right to tell me how I have the right to protect myself of not! When the real truth is as time goes on, I am not so worried about who comes into my home. I am far more concerned about the out of control government and the demands they are making. My right to use a weapon is to also MY RIGHT to stand AGAINST my Government! Look up posse-comitatus! Read your constitution and the Federialist Papers.

Michelle Hale 1 year, 6 months ago on Donald Leavitt: Keeping our rights

There are NO rights. Look up the NDAA that was past into law over a year ago. It went through the house, and over 90 plus senators voted in favor are removal of you first amendment rights and that pretty much covers everything else. The question in my mind is this? When a (blind) public has no idea that they no longer have rights, and no way to equal the force of the military....what do you think comes next? By the way, the police, or military no longer swear to serve and protect the constitution of the United States. I believe that was changed in 2005. Wake up.

As a good liberal I don't see it the government business to tell me what I can do with my body, who I can marry, what I can grow in my garden or how much I choose to store. I do not embrace the idea that goverment can tell me what to do on my property, or what I can have to protect myself.

The United States is the LARGEST Arms Dealer in the world. Why are they selling the guns in question to everyone else.....or giving them to the Mexican Cartel? Our Drones kill more children in a few days than what we see in years. Most important a fact that IS NOT talked about. Sandy Cook and AK WAS NOT USED. It was in the trunk of a car, the children were killed with hand guns. Dont believe me do some fact checks.

Michelle Hale 1 year, 6 months ago on Richard Boersma: The Third Amendment

Under the NDAA there are NO rights. Why? Because by removing the 1st Amendment, there are not other rights. I am amazed that NO papers ran the story of the NDAA being passed, or that very few people seem to know about it. Or, worse yet....even care. Over 90 senators voted in favor to remove these rights. It was signed into law last year. Next to no coverage was given. Could that be because most media is owned by 6 different corporation??? Who also own Washington???
