And where is the voice of reason? All Cargo had to do was pull over as requested by the police officer. And...now we have a group of people and their families crying foul and shouting SUE SUE SUE! Absolutely makes me sick. Who are you people going to call when you have an emergency? The same people you talk s#%t about but this time they are your heroes.
Here's a video worth watching about the financial stress treating illegals brings. Herein lies the reason while health care is so expensive. I agree with Silver Spoon but unfortunately sending them home has proven difficult if nearly impossible for the hospital featured in this video.
How about that for a big Steamboat welcome. Bet you won't see these folks in the paper again soon.
But seriously, I wouldn't want a 10,000 sq. ft. house if someone gave it to me. How do you make a house that size cozy or homey? And..the ag thing....that needs to be nipped in the bud. Nothing but a scam.
Housepoor - thanks for the laugh!
I think there is something wrong with collective ranching where the development has the ranch and all those homeowners reap the benefit. Come'on what a crock of sh*t. Somebody needs to pull the plug on that. If each of the homeowners have a little ranchette and gets their hands dirty or pays someone else to get their hands dirty that's one thing but this is crazy.
Figured as much. Thanks for doing your homework.
Desiderata - I sincerely doubt they are all jealous. I think they see the humor in the whole thing. I see ladies with their cowgirl hats and fancy boots with these beautifully manicured nails and I have to laugh. No one who works with livestock can keep nails like that.
What's really a pisser is I bet they are getting ag status without the sweat.
They do look like a nice couple and I don't begrudge anyone who has become successful. What I do find funny is the mention of the ranching lifestyle. I just came in from trimming hooves all morning. I sincerely doubt this couple will be experiencing the true ranching lifestyle they covet. Too funny. What they are creating out there is an illusion. Too bad because really living the ranching lifestyle, despite being dirty and hard work, is rewarding at the end of the day. There are the real neighbors who drop everything and come over when you need help with a new mom in trouble anytime, day or night. The things money can't buy...and the list is long.
Maybe they changed it after realizing it would hurt attendance. I also heard they were charging. Good to hear it will remain a free function.
Sure wish there were one of those photo ticketing devices on CR 14. It's become a super highway. It's not uncommon, but the norm, to see people driving over 65mph and perhaps higher in their haste to get to town. There have been countless times I've been passed in the no pass zone.
