On Wednesday, May 15, teams of volunteers throughout Routt County will unite in an effort to "Build a Caring Community," the focus for the 6th annual United Way Day of Caring.

To make it easier for low-income residents to get their cats or dogs spayed or neutered, the Routt County Humane Society is hosting an eight-week auction to raise money for its spay/neuter program as well as provide for injured animals brought to the shelter.

On March 1, the amateur art lover and connoisseur alike can enjoy an evening of "Champagne, Chocolate, and Chagall" hosted by the Family Development Center. The auction to benefit the non-profit organization will feature framed fine art prints encompassing a variety of artistic styles, including southwestern, landscape, impressionism, wildlife, and abstract art.
