Frannie Reinier
Digitial Imaging Specialist, or production clerk or in plain english I’m responsible for laying out and determining the size of our newspaper and magazines as well as for Craig Daily Press and their special sections. Everyday I layout the pages of the paper and make sure at the end of the day all ads are accounted for as well as the classified section of the paper is produced. I have the honor of being the longest continuous employee at the paper. I started working for the paper in June of 1981, hired by Chuck Leckenby, the paper’s original founding family. As part of the newspaper family I’ve enjoyed working in different departments until I was promoted to the production department 10 years ago.
While all my children are grown, four boys, I now keep busy checking up on my grandchildren. When I’m not doing that you can find my husband and I travelling on hunting trips or I’m busy teaching hunter education at Colorado Mountain College. Never one to sit still, I’m always looking for a way to challenge myself, even working at the paper.
