If anyone has a Chiappa Rhino they want to get rid of, let me know. My very modest arsenal already provides me with more than I need. But less than I want. Oh, to be rich.

Why is the background check free??? To get a copy of your drivers license you have to pay... to get a CDL hazmat you pay $86 for fingerprint and background.... while law enforcement spends the time to run these checks other more important functions I'm sure are being set aside.. not to mention that in this crush its not being done correctly.... time for a real fee that sets a standard and enables law enforcement to be properly equiped to complete this task

The NCIS background checks are paid for by you and I and every other taxpayer. They are anything but “free”, and the funding has been mandated ever since the Brady Bill was enacted in 1993. Curious how it's taken you nearly 20 years to gin up some outrageously outrageous outrage over that part of the legislation. I also doubt that a computerized background check is diverting law enforcement from more important tasks. Finally, there are additional local & state background checks and fingerprinting to be administered when a concealed carry permit is applied for. Those costs are charged directly to the applicant (here in CO, anyway. But I'm reasonably certain the same applies in most other issuing jurisdictions).

The government is coming ! The government is coming! Surely your arsenal will hold off the well regulated (and armed to the hilt) government. There is help for your paranoia. And, it ain't in assault rifles and large clips.

The United States of America is the largest arms dealer in the world. The DRONES that come from this nation kill hundreds of children. I have to ask this to those who support gun control. Now why would a nation want to remove the very gun that are sold all around the world from the people of this nation?
I am a good liberal. I don't think government has the right to tell women what they can or cant do with their body, or who any one can marry. I don't believe the government has the right to tell any one what to do on their private property. NOR do I believe they have the right to tell me I cant have the same gun and bullets that they sell to everyone else in the world, or supply for themselves. The old fashioned saying is; Clean their own doorstep first. Lead by action not by demand.
The second amendment is for protection, and that includes the act of tyranny. The passing of the NDAA made it very clear of what OUR government thinks of ITS people. They have forgotten, THEY work for US, not us for them.
