If Christmas is a sacred holiday that should be observed with store closures, then other beliefs sacred holidays such as Chanukah, Kwanza, Solstice, etc should also be observed in that same fashion. They are as important to those believers as Christmas is to Christians.

The bigger issue is why they are not open at night....... how much more of a cost would it be to stay open till 9pm at least..... we are a resort or at least thats what we "advertise" Steamboat as..... "Ski Town USA"....
The only activity for visitors after 7 in town are bars & restaurants......
