F.M. Light & Sons have been "Outfitting the West" for 100 years and are renowned for the 300 hand-painted yellow road signs that have lined the roadways into Steamboat Springs since 1928. The year 2005 marks the 100th anniversary of the F.M. Light & Sons store. Today, the store's merchandise still retains its Western flavor, selling anything from cowboy boots and hats, chinks, chaps, spurs, leather goods, to silk ties and jewelry and kids cap guns.
