Steamboat Springs City Council President Bart Kounovsky cuts the ribbon on the new Casey's Pond trail as other city officials and some trail users look on. The trail connects the Walton Creek corridor to areas along Pine Grove Road. The city project added 400 linear feet of concrete trail along Walton Creek Road and replaced a degraded asphalt trail along U.S. Highway 40 with a concrete trail, making the area safer for pedestrians and bikers. The project was completed on time and under budget. Photo by Scott Franz
