Frank Ruppel, from left, Samantha Terranova and Madison Ruppel take a break after competing in the 2013 Phoenix Winter Invitational last week. Frank Ruppel finished first in the boys 50 freestyle, 100 back and 200 back. Madison Ruppel was first in the women's open 100 free and 50 free. She also swam personal bests in all of her events. Terranova registered four top-20 finishes in the girls 15-and-older division.
