Dan Cnossen takes advantage of our snow and late season groomed ski trails Steamboat Lake State Park. Dan is an active Navy SEAL. He holds the rank of Lt Commander, the highest rank possible for a SEAL. He was injured in Afghanistan. He currently lives and trains in Winter Park and is a member of the US Paralympic Nordic Team and is training for the Sochi Russia Paralympic games, which take place next March. He has had many Paralympic world cup medals in cross-country skiing and biathlon. He will be skiing at Steamboat Lake State Park as long as conditions hold up. Submitted by: Julie Arington.
