Steamboat Springs skier Matt Tredway cuts down Steamboat Ski Area beneath the closed lifts and through deep powder the day after the resort closed for the season. Ski area officials advised against hiking up to ski on Monday as work began clearing roads on Mount Werner for construction work on projects such as the Four Points Lodge.
