The Lifetime Sports class from Steamboat Springs High School came to the Old Town Hot Springs for class Thursday. Jill Ruppel put them through a crazy obstacle course that included the slide, swimming or running the length of the pool and kayaking. Lonn Clementson is the teacher and he brings his class to the pool at least three times a semester. As a nonprofit, the Old Town Hot Springs enjoys supporting other nonprofits, such as the local schools. Submitted by: Shannon Lukens

Steamboat Team 1 — consisting of driver Charlie Reynolds, rider Kyle Lawton and tail roper Chad Feagler — maneuvers its toboggan down Chute 1 on Thursday during the Colorado Pro Patrol Convention in Steamboat Springs. Blowing snow and thick clouds made conditions even harder on the double black diamond trail as more than a dozen teams from across Colorado put their skiing and toboggan handling skills to the test during this event.
