Just thought I would share two photos from the Historic Downtown Sign Dedication that was held Sept. 15, 2012, at the New Pocket Park on Walnut Street sponsored by the Hayden Heritage Center Museum. Three signs were given out to owners of downtown buildings/businesses and are part of the museum's downtown walking tour. This is part of an ongoing project started by Donna Hellyer. It also marked the kickoff for the New Hayden Historic Registry. The signs were given out by Donna Hellyer and museum Curator Laurel Watson to this year's recipients: Karen Tomke (The Hayden Trading Post), The Rebekah’s Lodge (formerly The Oxford Hotel), and The Simon’s (formerly the Old Library).
