Steamboat’s Butch Boucher shot a 77 on Thursday and is eight back. John Vanderbloemen also shot 77 and is 12 back. Both made the cut. Heavy equipment operator Chase Davis, of Duckels Construction, moves a load of dirt at a construction site in West Lincoln Park on Thursday afternoon. The Steamboat Springs Utilities Department, which is contracting with Duckels, has begun work to replace about 1,000 feet of sewer interceptor in the area. A news release from the city also stated that a partial closure of 13th Street will be necessary in October.
