Steamboat Springs Middle School teacher Chris Adams was recognized last week in Littleton as Colorado's Middle School PE Teacher of the Year by the Colorado Association for Health Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.

Instead of “squad lines,” dodgeball battles and synchronized calisthenics, Chris Adams more commonly coaches his students while they use digital pedometers, spring off of Bosu balls and break sweats playing motion capture video games on the Xbox 360 and Wii.
