Cara Piske, front, and Jaelin Kauf race toward the finish line during the Cardboard Classic at the Old Town Hot Springs on Monday morning. The race features AP physics students from Steamboat Springs, Hayden and South Routt racing homemade cardboard boats across the waters of the Old Town Hot Springs pool while learning the fundamentals of physics.
