The Steamboat Springs eighth-grade football team finished the season 8-1, its only loss a season-ender to Moffat County. Steamboat, which beat Moffat earlier in the year, had 27 players go out. It averaged 27 points per game while giving up just six. It pitched five shutouts this season.
