A helicopter operated by R&R Connor Aviation moves Douglas fir trees Saturday that were cut from Howelsen Hill. More than 90 of the trees were removed from near the ski jump complex as a result of a Colorado State Forest Service study that indicated many of the trees were infested by Douglas fir beetles. A helicopter was used to move the trees to the base area to minimize damage to the trails.
