Sam Haslem places a piece of meat on a tray held by North Routt Fire Chief Bob Reilley after preparing the meat for the annual Republican Pig Roast. On Wednesday, Haslem was on hand to prepare the meat and also was presented with an award for his service as the Routt County Extension officer along with another former officer CJ Mucklow. Current officer Todd Hagenbuch also was recognized at the luncheon.
