A fresh layer of snow is seen Friday through the window of an old building along River Road in Steamboat Springs that seems to perfectly frame the slopes of Mount Werner. A winter storm warning has been issued for the mountains surrounding Steamboat from noon Saturday to 6 a.m. Monday.
