The Steamboat Springs High School boys freshmen lacrosse team was on the field Monday evening for a game against Battle Mountain. The same night, the Steamboat Springs School Board was meeting to discuss the possibility of ending its funding of Tier 2 sports in Steamboat. Those sports include tennis, cheerleading, Alpine and Nordic skiing, lacrosse, hockey, golf, baseball and wrestling. Photo by John F. Russell
